Welcome to BeMy. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and the operators of the BeMy platform (“BeMy,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using BeMy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BeMy you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Refund Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
BeMy is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You also represent that you are legally permitted to use BeMy in your jurisdiction and that you have not previously been banned from the service.
3. Account registration and security
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile and for keeping your login credentials safe. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Notify us at support@bemy.fun immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. User conduct
You agree that you will not:
- harass, threaten, impersonate, or defame any other user;
- post illegal, infringing, sexually explicit, or hateful content;
- create accounts for anyone under 18;
- scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service;
- use BeMy for commercial solicitation, spam, or fraud;
- share another user's private information without their consent.
Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account. See our Community Guidelines for detail.
5. Your content and licence
You retain ownership of the photos, messages, and other content you post on BeMy (“Your Content”). By posting, you grant BeMy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service. This licence ends when you delete Your Content, except to the extent we are required to retain it for legal or safety reasons.
6. Chips, purchases, and profile boosts
Chips are a digital in-app currency used for tipping, unlocking content, and boosting visibility on BeMy. Chips have no monetary value outside BeMy, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are generally non-refundable. Payments are processed by Stripe. See our Refund Policy for details.
7. Connections, messaging, and events
BeMy lets you request connections with other users, exchange private messages, and host or apply to events. BeMy does not verify or endorse any user. You are solely responsible for how you interact with others on and off the platform. Please read our Safety Tips.
8. Intellectual property
The BeMy name, logo, and all platform software are owned by BeMy. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of BeMy without our written permission.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or to protect BeMy, its users, or third parties.
10. Disclaimers
BeMy is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that you will meet or form successful connections with anyone on the platform.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeMy is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid BeMy in the three months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BeMy is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and, failing that, through binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the revised version at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will also be announced inside the app. Your continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
