This Refund Policy explains when and how we issue refunds for Chips and other purchases on BeMy. It applies to all users worldwide, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under local consumer law.
1. Chips are a digital product
Chips are a digital in-app currency issued to your BeMy account. Once Chips are credited to your balance, the purchase is treated as delivered. Chips have no monetary value outside BeMy and cannot be redeemed for cash.
2. All sales are final — general rule
Because Chips are digital and are delivered immediately on purchase, all sales are final by default and we do not refund Chips that have been spent or transferred to another user.
3. Exceptions
We will review refund requests in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charges. You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
- Unauthorised transactions. You did not authorise the charge (please also notify your card issuer).
- Technical failure. You were charged but the Chips never arrived, and our logs confirm the failure.
- Statutory rights. Where local consumer law requires a refund that we cannot lawfully exclude.
We cannot refund Chips that have already been spent — for example, to tip another user, unlock content, or activate a profile boost.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@bemy.fun within 7 days of the charge. Please include:
- the email address on your BeMy account;
- the approximate date and amount of the charge;
- the Stripe receipt number (if available);
- a brief description of what went wrong.
We typically respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method and can take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
5. Chargebacks
Before disputing a charge with your bank, please reach out to us first. Chargebacks lock your BeMy account pending investigation and may result in permanent suspension if the dispute is found to be improper.
6. Profile boosts and other paid features
Profile boosts purchased with Chips are consumed when activated and are non-refundable once a boost is live. If a boost fails to activate, email us and we'll investigate and restore your Chips.
